SupraNet Communications, Inc. Celebrates 19 Years in Business

On September 1st, 2013, SupraNet Communications, Inc. celebrated its 19th anniversary of delivering fast, direct and reliable Internet services to businesses in Wisconsin. SupraNet’s President, Bryan Chan, started the company in 1994 with the goal of becoming a well-respected Internet Service Provider in the area. Today, SupraNet services more than 500 clients in South Central Wisconsin and adheres to their core values of integrity, constant improvement, long-term customer loyalty and responsible success. The past year was full of opportunities to connect with the community and other IT professionals. SupraNet continued their involvement in organizations such as Dane Buy Local, Downtown Madison Rotary, Accelerate Madison, DMI, and many local Chambers of Commerce. They served as the technology sponsor at both of WTN Media’s Fusion 2013 CEO-CIO Symposium and the 2013 Digital Healthcare Conference. SupraNet was also named a 2012 InBusiness Executive Choice Award finalist in the category of Preferred IT Consultant.

SupraNet remains dedicated to sustaining the performing arts culture in Madison and is happy to continue their support of the Overture Center with a sponsorship of the upcoming performance of Chicago. Due in part to SupraNet’s dedication to excellence and their focus on customer service and community relations, the Better Business Bureau of Wisconsin awarded them an A+ rating for 2013-2014.

Internally, SupraNet has been growing and evolving since their acquisition of Mad City Broadband at the end of 2012, which allows SupraNet to provide small and medium sized businesses with more cost-effective and reliable high-speed wireless and fiber optic Internet solutions. Through the acquisition, SupraNet has increased their geographical rage and diversified their current scope of services while continuing to offer the strong customer service that their clients have come to count on.

High Tech Happy hour, which SupraNet co-hosts monthly with Yahara Software, celebrated two major events during the recent 2013 Forward Technology Festival. The PechaKucha Night event drew in curious community members who wanted to hear talented entrepreneurs tell their stories, and the High Tech Happy Hour 12th Anniversary Celebration gave close to 400 people the opportunity to network and celebrate another year of connecting Madison professionals. SupraNet was also a proud sponsor of the Forward Technology Conference, an event that brought in an array of speakers to talk about innovation and entrepreneurship.
